Kuala Kangsar, April 5, 2016 - Perak Mufti Department, in collaboration with the Research Division under Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPK), and the Kuala Kangsar District Islamic Religious Office has organized a Workshop on Training of Trainers (TOT): Practicing Congregation In the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan.

The workshop aims to provide knowledge and a thorough understanding of the true tarekat practices and clarify issues that often become controversial among the public. It was held for two days on 4th-5th April 2016 at Kuala Kangsar District Islamic Religious Office

The workshop was attended by about 50 participants from accredited religious teachers, court officials, state officials and local religious institutions. Among the presenters were invited was the Hon. Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Shukri Yeoh Abdullah, Chairman of the Malay Manuscript Research Centre, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and S.F. Dr. Haji Ahmad Husni bin Haji Hasan, a member of the Perak Fatwa Committee. All of the presentations held on Monday.

On the second day, discussions continued with issues Sufism along with A.F. Dr. Mohd. Faizal Bin Abdul Khair and A.F. Dr. Mohd Fuad Bin Mokhtar of Kolej Universiti Islam Sultan Azlan Shah (KUISAS), Kuala Kangsar. The workshop concluded with a dialogue with the Mufti of Perak, S.S. Tan Sri Dato 'Seri Dr. Harussani Haji Zakaria bin Haji, Director of Perak Islamic Religious Department, Y.Bhg. Dato 'Haji Mohd Yusof Bin Husin, and the Chief Syarie Judge, Y.A.A. As'ari Mr. Bin Haji Mohd Yazid

The workshop ended at 1.00 pm on Tuesday and was held smoothly and successfully.
The participants focused to the presentation.
