IPOH, Feb. 25, 2020 - The government of Perak once again successfully organized the Dialogue Sultan Nazrin Shah Muizzuddin this year. It was held on 24 and 25 February, the Convention Center in Casuarina, Casuarina @ Meru, Bandar Meru Raya, Ipoh. Dialogue is an annual program of the State Government of Perak managed by Perak Mufti Department. Dialogue at this time is the second time held international after being appointed to the international level in 2018. The theme was taken up at this time is, 'Rising Glory All: History, Vision and Expectations'. His Royal Highness Darul Ridzuan Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah welcomed him to officiate at the opening ceremony on Monday, February 24, 2020. |
Dialogue Opening Ceremony Muizzuddin Sultan Nazrin Shah took place on the first day was attended by about 1000 people. His Majesty also consented to present the Raja Permaisuri Perak, HRH Raja Muda of Perak, HRH Raja Puan Besar of Perak, HRH and HRH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Puan Muda of Perak. The event was graced with the recitation of verses from the Quran by A.F. Ustaz Mohd Kamaruzzaman Bin David. He recited a verse pertaining leadership in accordance with the theme discussions, namely Al Imran verse 33 through 37. The ceremony was followed by a welcoming speech Mufti of Perak, Tan Sri Dato 'Seri Dr. Haji Harussani Bin Haji Zakaria, then the Royal Order of the Royal Sultan of Perak. The ceremony continued with a presentation of the main paper by YBhg. Dr. 'Ali Muhyiddin Al-Qarah Daghi, Secretary of the Union of Scholars', Qatar. He presented a paper which is also the main theme of discussions that is 'Rising Glory All: History, Vision and Expectations'.
The presenters of the paper are YBhg. Datuk Dr. Mohd Daud Bin Bakar, President of International Islamic University Malaysia, YBhg. Prof. Emeritus Datuk Dr. Bin Zainal Kling, Chair of the Institution of Rulers, Universiti Teknologi MARA, S.S. Datuk Ustaz Hj. The youngest @ Aziz Bin Hj. Jaafar, Mufti of the State of Sabah and YBhg. Dato 'Zainul Rijal bin Abu Bakar, advocate and solicitor. Also present was the Executive Forum which reviewed and disseminated the theme of the debate. Forum panel members consist of YBhg. Prof Dato 'Teo Kok Seong, Principal Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnic Studies (KITA), UKM, YBhg. Prof. Dr. Sivamurugan Pandian from the School of Social Sciences, USM and YBhg. Tan Sri Musa Bin Tan Sri Haji Hassan, Former Chief of Police. In addition, Multaqa Scholars' and Muslim Scholars were also held on Monday night to discuss the declaration in support of the theme for the glory of Muslims in the country. A total of 21 scholars' and Islamic scholars were invited to give their ideas and ideas in the formulation of the declaration.
Discussion ended with the closing ceremony on Tuesday. The event was officiated by the deputy to the Perak Menteri Besar Dato 'Ahmad Suaidi bin Abdul Rahim as State Secretary. At the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Sultan Azlan Shah University (USAS), YBhg. Prof. Dr. Hj. Jamil Bin Hashim has presented a declaration formulated by the results of the Multaqa Scholars' and Islamic scholars.
