IPOH, 17 JANUARY 2019 - Perak Fatwa Committee Meeting was held yesterday. The issues was raised by the authorities that require the decision and explanation of the law.

The meeting was chaired by Y.Bhg. SS. Tan Sri Dato 'Seri (Dr.) Haji Harussani Bin Haji Zakaria, chairman of the Perak Fatwa Committee. The committee members are Y.Bhg. SS. Tuan Haji Zamri Hashim, Deputy Mufti of Perak, Y.Bhg. Dato 'Haji Mohd Yusop Haji Husin, Director of JAIPk, Dato' Haji Asad Awang, Tuan Haji Mohd Suaid Din, Prof. Madya Dr. Haji Ahmad Husni Haji Hassan, Prof. Dr. Jamil Hashim, Tuan Haji Md. Dali Ghazali, Prof. Madya Dr. Mohamed Fairooz Abdul Khir and Prof. Madya Dr. Lukman Abdul Mutalib. It was also attended by Tuan Haji Kamaruddin Adam as secretary and adviser Ahmad Khairul Nizam Ahmad Tarmizdi as the secretariat of the meeting.

The meeting starts at 10.00 am and ends at 1.00 pm. Various issues have been presented and discussed. Some issues will be brought to the next meeting. The meeting held 4 to 6 times each year.
